Rosemary Live at The Cuban 30/04/07 and New Single 40-40
![]()
Rosemary organised a fantastic knees up at The Cuban on Monday to celebrate the release of their new single ‘40-40′. The venue itself is worthy of mention with fantastic Cuban decor and a relaxed atmosphere, everyone attending seemed far more interested in having a good time than acting cool and smiles were abundant. The support bands left me feeling generally unfulfilled, possibly due to the anticipation of seeing Rosemary live for the first time – and the boys did outshine my expectations.
A-Capella sing alongs, folk-punk, 60’s pop and indie were all thrown into the pot and mixed up with a good attitude, tons of energy and a sexy as fuck Rickenbacker bass guitar. Their better known tracks such as ‘Benjamins Ego’ and ‘40-40′ itself went down a storm with the crowd, with the more die-hard fans loyally repeating every word. Rosemary are definitely a band worth checking out live if you can, but before you do make sure you grab the new single. Check out their MySpace for details.
